A perfect partner in life is someone you can be with and talk to about anything without realizing that the day was over. Someone who will always listen and feel twice the joy or pain you are going through. When you start to feel that connection, never let it go, cause there is more to companionship than to love. In the end, you know you’d rather hold someone’s hand than hear the words I love you.
If a person isn’t interested in you, then leave. It’s as simple as that. Don’t beg, don’t look back and don’t cry. If this person can’t appreciate who you are, then you don’t need him in your life. Choose to be with someone who sees the beauty that is sometimes too well hidden.
Never say that someone completes you. We have to feel whole even when we are by ourselves, for needing a certain someone is not is not love but dependency. Wanting a person to become a part of our life is the best reason for having them. And you can only want them you know you have through. So search not for that someone who will complete you, but for the person who will complement your completeness.
True love would mean trust, care, and most importantly, respect. Never mistake love for infatuation, admiration, addiction or lust. Love can never be of harm, but always for your good and the other.
